As part of FM Talent's Random Acts of Kindness 2026 Campaign, Ebony Cray found a creative way to celebrate the end of the school year while teaching lessons that will last far beyond the summer.
She didn't simply throw a pizza party.
She created an opportunity for children to earn it.
A Party with a Purpose
To celebrate the beginning of summer, Ebony invited the children in her building to participate in something special.
Each child had the opportunity to earn an end-of-the-week pizza party by completing a simple daily checklist.
The expectations weren't complicated.
They were the kinds of values that help build strong families and caring communities.
The children were encouraged to:
💚 Be kind to their siblings and others.
🧹 Keep their recreation area clean.
👨👩👧 Listen to their parents.
Each day, parents signed off on the checklist, celebrating the children's progress and encouraging them along the way.
The excitement quickly spread.
Every child wanted to "do their part."
