Sometimes the greatest impact of kindness is the one it has on the person giving it.
Throughout FM Talent's Random Acts of Kindness campaign, we've seen generosity expressed in countless ways.
Some team members volunteered their time.
Others donated food, clothing, or supplies.
Some encouraged healthier lifestyles.
Others simply brightened someone's day with an unexpected surprise.
For Mohamed Sesay, his Random Act of Kindness became something much deeper than he ever expected.
It became a lesson.
An Unexpected Encounter
On Sunday, July 26, Mohamed noticed a homeless man standing outside a local Wingstop.
Like so many of us, he could have continued walking.
Instead...
He stopped.
Using his FM Talent Random Acts of Kindness gift, Mohamed handed the gentleman $20.
The man's reaction was immediate.
He was surprised.
He was grateful.
And in that brief exchange between two strangers, something remarkable happened.
Both of their days became a little brighter.
Kindness Changes the Giver Too
As Mohamed reflected on the experience, he realized something unexpected.
While he was happy to help someone in need...
The experience had changed him just as much.
He shared these powerful words:
"Until you develop the habit of helping people, you will never understand what they are going through."
What a beautiful reminder.
Kindness isn't just something we give away.
It has a remarkable way of changing our own hearts as well.
Every act of compassion helps us see the world a little differently.
It reminds us that behind every face is a story we may never fully know.
And sometimes, all someone needs is for another person to simply notice them.
A Culture of Compassion
Mohamed also made it clear that while he carried out the act himself, he believes the credit belongs to something much larger.
He thanked the entire FM Talent family for creating a culture that encourages people to look beyond themselves and recognize opportunities to make a difference.
