While attending a travel softball tournament, Mark Colaw noticed an opportunity to do just that.
As part of FM Talent's RAK 2026 Campaign, Mark used his $20 Random Act of Kindness gift to purchase lunch for two 14-year-old players participating in the tournament.
It may have seemed like a small gesture, but anyone who has spent a long day at the ballfield knows how meaningful a meal can be between games.
A lunch break becomes a chance to recharge.
A moment to relax.
A reminder that kindness can be found in unexpected places.
More Than Just a Meal
Sports teach young people many valuable lessons, teamwork, perseverance, discipline, and sportsmanship.
But sometimes the most memorable lesson doesn't happen on the field.
Sometimes it comes from a stranger who chooses to be generous.
By buying lunch for these young athletes, Mark demonstrated something just as important as winning a game:
